OpenCms provides a couple of editors summarized as ADE (advanced direct edit) views. They are used to edit content or structure a website. Also various additional options are provided. The views are the main places to work when adding content or pages to website. For content editors it usually suffices to stay in ADE views.
The opposite pole to ADE views is the traditional workplace. It provides access to advanced features typically used by administrators, project managers and template developers.
